Input
The simplicity of the input offered in PipeCad makes the software the perfect drawing tool for all levels of users. All objects can be placed in the working area with just one mouse click while the 3D isometric or plan view is active. OSNAP aids the connection between components it is fast and easy to use.
To insert chillers, boilers, tanks and pumps, the user only has to specify the positioning and rotation angle.

To insert in-line components such as valves and in-line pumps the user only needs to specify the rotation angle and connection point. PipeCad will add all fittings automatically and transition fittings according to the pipe size. Joint types can be selected by the designer.

The graphic representation and Bill of Materials
3D modelling of the all system drawings and views are available for plotting. Each component is assigned a label. This label displays all necessary technical information relating to the specific component.
Additional features such as dimensioning, layout manager window and viewport allow the designer to obtain a professional result quickly.
The Bill of Material is available in both RTF and Xls file format.

Databases
The database includes approximately 1500 components from industry constructors such as Buderus. The user can modify existing components or add new ones as needed. The graphical representation is accurate and professional. PipeCad offers speed in rendering and accuracy by selecting the number of 3D faces available for any object.

Bill of Materials
The Bill of Materials is created with a single command and lists all equipment used in the project.
Prices can be associated with any components used in the project. The designer will then receive an accurate price quote of the complete system.
