Project databases
This module allows the sizing of the HVAC equipment based on the room load calculated with the Energy module using ASHRAE Standards. All databases such as HVAC terminals, plumbing fixtures, pipes, manifolds, valves, fluids and generators can be customized. In addition, customized .DWG blocks can be created in 2D and 3D and used within the project.

Drawing Editing
Drawing execution is fast and accurate for both 2D and 3D graphical representation. The connection between pipes and terminals is automatic. Based on the elevation of the terminal connection Mc4Suite draws the raising pipes automatically. Manifold and terminal connection can be executed with a single command.

The Schematic option, allows the system to be drawn using 2D standard symbols. The drawing can be plotted without any additional editing. Calculation and final drawing use only one input. Parallel return lines of the thermal system and the hot line of the plumbing system can be drawn automatically.

System Calculation
One simple command will size and the balance the system. The user is allowed to modify the size of the pipes, insert valves on the terminals or along the lines where required.

By supplying the system with a pump with its own characteristic curve, the user can check the real working situation of the system (operation point calculation).

Layout and prints
The final system layout drawing includes tables displaying the main results of all calculations.
The user can produce detailed reports containing complete system information. Also included is a list of project components such as but not limited to pipes, terminals and valves. The user can also generate complete specifications of the circuit sizing and finally, an estimated bill of material.
